XGridChat (short for "cross-grid chat") is a text-only program allowing you to forward group chat from one grid to another.
XGridChat manages robots on each grid, so you don't need to have access to the servers. It can act as a daemon that runs in the background. It can be run on different machines (up to one computer per robot) to balance the load.
XGridChat is based on LLChatLib. It lives in SLiteChat's tree of source code, so you get it when you compile or download SLiteChat. It is available for Linux. It has proved experimentally to run under Mac OS/X as well. Presently, it does not run under Windows.
The detailed installation instructions are in the README file. A GUI program (Linux only) allows to create and install (through SSH) its configuration files.
